Biarritz is nestled in the Bay of Biscay, on the Pacific Ocean. The beautiful coast with infinite stretches of sandy beaches and a mild climate provides great surfing conditions year around.  

Create your personal fitness and fun vacation around these two wonderful activities while relaxing in our beautiful ocean view apartment. You can schedule your activities around one or two weeks stay, and arrange for plenty of relaxing time in between.

SURF

If you want to take lessons, you can choose from 10 surfing schools in the area. Most of them are open year around and offer equipment rentals as well.

The biggest surfing event of the year is ROXY JAM, USP Women's World Longboard Championship. Compete or enjoy the fabulous show this year from 10 to 14th of July.  

Experience wonderful beaches stretching over several kilometers from sandy dunes of Landes to the sandy beaches all the way into Spain. Main surfing beaches are:

The beach at Bidart, just south of Biarritz, is considered the most challenging in Europe. Under certain conditions, waves can rise to 21 feet but more often range from 6 to 10 feet.

GOLF

The main golf course located a short walk from our apartment is Biarritz Le Phare.

There is also a wonderful course Ilbarritz and 10 others within 30 Km radius. You can get a GOLF PASS providing you with the access to 5 different courses in the area.

While you can walk from our apartment to the Biarritz Le Phare golf course, you will need a car to reach the others located in the beautiful countryside. Here is a list of the main golf courses:
